Believe it or not, I haven't seen 'Footloose'
I didn't see it when it came out because I had super overprotective parents that were more interested in movies like Red Dawn than movies with male protagonists that "gotta dance". Actually, it's probably not fair to blame them entirely because I never really had the desire to see it. I feel I have lived a full and rich life up to this point and don't really feel any desire to correct the situation.

I've never seen it, either. When it came out I was in 10th grade, into the punk rock scene. I had this boyfriend who was into more pop-ish music and "Footloose" was right his alley. He had already seen "Footloose" but kept bugging me to see it with him. One Saturday morning I was trying to sleep and he called several times to wake me up to go, I had no intentions of seeing that film so we broke up over it. I think I hung up on him and we never spoke again. All over Footloose. Oh well........
It's all about the themesong.
